A Market is Bullish because the trend of the overall market is moving higher, whatever news or current market conditions may appear to be, the market is the overall indicator that we will follow. Information that is known or anticipated will always show up in price.
The Stock Market is a discounting mechanism so whatever news is currently being shown the market has already priced that in 3 to 6 months ago so current market direction is based on the economic environment 3 to 6 months from now versus what is taking place right now, this is often called climbing a wall of worry in the stock market.
The TradersPro system is looking to be involved in the major trend directions not necessarily picking tops and bottoms so traders can be on the right side of the trend and trade in that direction.
The market direction is given so that you will know what direction to trade. If the Market conditions are bearish the Direction Alerts page will tell you what the strategy should be. For example:
Market conditions are Mildly Bearish in a Bull Market as of 2018-09-07. This means traders and investors should consider trading with a Neutral or Bearish bias by raising stop levels on winners and selling losers. Market conditions are Bearish in a Bull Market as of 2018-06-27. This means traders and investors should consider trading with a Bearish bias by raising stop levels on winners and selling losers.
Market conditions are Bullish in a Bull Market as of 2018-07-18. This means traders and investors should consider trading with a Bullish bias by buying (going long) stocks, long ETF's or Call Options. This information is found on the Market Trend Tab then the Direction Alerts Tab then under the first chart
